Peer-to-peer sharing now runs on the Visit registration completion page, giving event organisers an attendee acquisition channel without requiring visitor registration data to pass from Visit to Snöball.
Press Release
Haarlem, Netherlands, 14 August 2026.
Visit by GES has connected Snöball’s peer-to-peer sharing technology to the Visit registration flow. Organisers can now prompt visitors to share the event with their own networks when they complete their registration, adding a referral channel at a point when interest in attending is high. The integration is available to Visit clients on request and is configured for each event with the Visit team.
The sharing prompt appears on the registration completion page. Each visitor receives a trackable link and can post a personalised message across more than 17 social and messaging channels, including LinkedIn, X, WhatsApp and email. Shares, clicks and the registrations that follow are tracked in Snöball, allowing organisers to measure the contribution of the referral channel alongside their paid and owned marketing activity.
No visitor registration data passes from Visit to Snöball. The prompt runs on the completion page, and each visitor decides what to share and where. Organisers can add a new marketing channel without transferring registration data from Visit to Snöball, an important consideration for events operating under GDPR and for clients whose registration data carries commercial value.
“People who have just registered are among the most engaged advocates an event can have. This integration gives organisers a simple way to turn that enthusiasm into measurable peer-to-peer sharing at exactly the right moment, while keeping visitor registration data within Visit.
At Visit, we’re focused on giving organisers the tools to deliver meaningful experiences and measurable results,” said Cristina Achim, Head of Product Management at Visit by GES. “Adding Snöball’s peer-to-peer sharing to our registration flow is a natural fit. It helps organisers extend their reach through people who know their events and have chosen to attend themselves, giving each recommendation greater relevance and credibility. This is a strong first step, and we’re excited about how the partnership can develop.”
“Our mission has always been to turn an event’s own audience into its most powerful growth channel,” said Rachel Stephan, Founder and CEO of Snöball. “Visit by GES powers some of the most respected events in the world, and this integration puts peer-to-peer sharing right at the moment attendees are most excited, the second they register. We’re thrilled to make that value effortless for their organizers.”
Snöball joins a group of connected systems spanning CRM, marketing automation, payments, networking, accommodation and analytics. Attendee acquisition has been a supported integration category at Visit for some time, and the Snöball connection extends this into peer-to-peer referrals.
Organisers running events on Visit can arrange enablement through their account team.
Full details of Visit’s connected systems are available on the event software integrations page.
